It was a true blessing to have you with us today. I’d like to take a moment to share a bit about our journey and ministry.

Vicky and I began what was then known as the Bucyrus Christian Center in the early '90s, in a small building on West Center Street in Bucyrus, Ohio. As new pastors, filled with a passion for God and His purpose for us, our vision became clearer as we grew in our faith. God called us to minister to the brokenhearted, the downtrodden, and to bring salvation to the lost.

 

In 1997, we moved to the corner of Beal Avenue and Whetstone Street, where we established our first outreach center. Since then, we’ve relocated several times, always guided by God's perfect timing, until we arrived at our current home: New Day Ministries/Bucyrus Christian Center on East Warren Street.

In 2012, God directed us to open an outreach center at 133 North Sandusky Avenue, and He faithfully opened that door. Since then, through His grace, we’ve been able to serve over 2.8 million meals and provide clothing to countless individuals in need. Jesus’ commission in the book of Matthew—to feed and make disciples of the lost—has always been our guiding mission.

Through the many challenges and heartaches Vicky and I have faced, God has not only shaped this ministry, but He has also shaped us as leaders. This ministry could not have flourished without the support of those who stood by us in both the good times and the difficult ones.
